In partnership with Cotswold Classic Car Restorations (CCCR) the Jaguar XK120 restoration continues now with the engine refurbishment and the beginnings of the interior – already we are loving the classic red!
The engine has been totally dismantled and acid dipped to make sure that all parts of it are clean and any signs of erosion removed. Engine rebuilds are obviously a main part to any classic car restoration and any necessary parts were replaced that needed to be, however we have tried to use as many original parts as possible.

This high end refurbishment is now in the assembly stages with the vehicles heart and soul being re-fitted and all vital parts connected. There is an extensive list of tests the engine and all composing parts will go through throughout the build and also when complete… It will be checked and then re-checked and then re-re-checked again! The mechanics of any classic restoration can be tricky with a combination of old & new but we are confident this one will live up to the classic Jaguar expectations of durability and performance.
